You should place the eggs in the incubator exactly the way they are laid, never turn them,,,Just lift them straight up and transfer to the incubator and they should be fine.

Hello,
The developing embryo in the egg is going to develop according to how the egg was laid. If you turn the egg upside down, right side up, or any other direction, you could drown the developing leo. From the caresheet: Quote:

Good luck with your eggs - we have a fair few incubating at the moment and have just had three of them hatch out! (Photos soon - sorry guys have been so busy of late, that's all I seem to say nowadays!)
As the others said, you should place them in a box of vermiculite or some other incubating medium the way you find them, be very delicate when picking them out and do not roll them. We check on our eggs every few days to make sure they are ticking over ok and the humidity is right. Fertile eggs will be more solid and whiter than infertile ones, but we tend to incubate most of our eggs at the start anyway just to make sure. The infertile ones will present themselves soon. Hope they do well for you ![]()
