ugh, messed up my ankle. *Graphic Photos*
Apparently I don't know how to walk. I slightly twisted my ankle hiking after work on frida. It hurt, but I walked it off in 15 minutes. Then last night I was home, coming down the stairs. My foot must have hit that spot where the carpet meets the hard wood or something, but my ankle totally caved out from under me. Todd heard the "pop" all the way in the dining room. I can't believe I didn't hit anything on the way down. I fell right inbetweem the entrance railing, frog tank, couch, ikea chair and antique trunk. (the only good thing, is that on my hike I saw several types of frogs, toads and a turtle.)
At least nothing is broken. I have this sexy moon boot and some crutches. I see my primary care doctor later and then probably a physical therapist.

I rolled my ankle Thursday, almost fell into a lake, but it wasn't bad, I was able to walk it off.

That boot is uglier than what we give our patients, lol. Good think nothing is broke, bad thing is, spraines take longer to heal. Keep us posted.

That's exactly what happened to me! well, minus the lake part. I walked it off. Its my house that got me later that night. I should take a photo of where I fell and you can see how I fell perfectly and missed everything. 
no big bruises. just a small one down at the bottom of my foot. I spoke to a specialist today and they said stay off it, keep it elevated, take lots of ibuprofen and I'll see you in a week.

Wow, I know how that hurts. Did that when I was back in high school and the Doctor told me that I would have been better off had I broken it! Hope you feel better!

at least it wasn't like this... Picture taken by EMS providers of a womans leg... She dropped something, bent over to pick it up and with all her weight on the one leg it collapsed under her. You can just barely make out the pink slipper in the background.(graphic so please don't peak while you are trying to eat...)
