My name is Andrea and I've recently become a moderator here on Herp Center Network. I'm originally from San Francisco, California, but I've lived in Switzerland for over 20 years, where I teach English.
I have 7 brothers and 4 sisters and growing up there was always a menagerie of pets in our house: including herps. I've loved snakes since I can remember. Over the years we have kept gopher snakes, garter snakes, smooth green snakes, a red-tail boa and rainbow boas.
I'm married and 4 years ago I introduced my husband to the wonderful serpent world. He, "Chondrodoc" now has 6 Chondropythons (Morelia viridis) and plans to breed them in the future. I currently own a very sweet ball python, "Monty".
We've built all our own terrariums and will probably be re-arranging the living room soon to accommodate more.
I'm happy to be a part of the Herp Center team. I hope to share some of my experiences as well as learn from yours.
