They have lizard leashes at pet stores. I've never used one on my bearded dragons, but when I get my tegu I'll be leash training him.

The best leash for any lizard is the hip lead that most of us use for iguanas and Bearded Dragons. Best part of all is you make it yourself for about a buck!

Here's Zola with his leash on,



He doesn't fuss, and it makes him alot easier to keep tabs on outside because he's only got about 4 or 5 feet of rope.

Best of all it didn't cost me a dime to make because I already had supplies around the house.

I used a super long drawstring from an old pair of PJs and the barrel clasp is from a glove that lost its mate many winters ago.
