I took some pics of her tonight. I hope its a she anyway, the bigger one has distinct male organs. I didn't see the two bumps on this one.

She usually likes to chill on my shoulder, but its hard to get a pic of her there.




She is usually more active and trying to run around, compared to the male. He will just chill on my hand for quite some time. Although they both are at attention at the shake of a bag full of crickets. You can just see their little minds wanting to jump at the bag.


I'm not sure on their age, but they are both growing fairly quick and have quite an appetite.

I have only had them for about two months now. They have grown quite a bit, even the owner was surprised when I told them they were already almost as big as his red/orange male and abit bigger then the female. I'm not exactly sure on their age. I guess they were bred locally by a younger kid, he said he was like 12-15. The male is about 11-12" from head to tail, but quite abit bulkier. The female(pictured) is about 10.5-11", just abit smaller in length and abit smaller body wise. Although on a full stomache she can be nearly as big as the male.

I know the store owner and he worked out a deal with me. I breed various types of African Cichlids (fish) and I brought him in a ton of them. I ended up getting the pair in trade for the fish. It was around $80 for both of them, $40 each. Thinking back I kind of wish I would of put the extra $150 to get the pair of red/oranges he has, but I love my guys I have anyway.
