Oh joy!!! They shed in sections usually and it takes a 1-2 weeks to complete, just do the misting and soaking thing, there shouldnt be any problems.

It never seems to bother Gary's appetite.

I have never had a problem so far with the Bearded Dragons not wanting to eat during shedding. I did have Sophie lay in her water bowl. The next day I found all or her belly shed in the bowl.

since your on the subject of shedding, my beardy, in my opinion(because I can't be sure) hasn't shed in 8 months I soak him plenty and I mist him twice a day, any ideas why he wouldn't be shedding? He's full grown for sure, would that effect his shedding?

yes, they really only shed while they are growing, and then only get replacement sheds every so often. i have a 4 year old that sheds once a year, and a three year old that sheds twice a year. once they've reached full length, shedding goes down drastically.
