Quick up Date
well tigger had a vet visit today. for quite some time I felt a lump in her stomach area towards the tail. My mind quickly raced to different ideas such as its an egg she hasn't passed, or she could have cancer, and I got more worried every day. Then I contacted a friend over instant message and she told me how she had a Bearded Dragon with lumps where three days sooner had she gone in he would have lived. Well that was friday night, and I called and the vet had no opening till Thursday, so this whole week i've been going crazy worring over her. Making sure I gave her good foods and all, and getting worried by the time I got to the vet it would be to late. It was a race between life and death to me and I was losing because death had time on its side. So im driving to the vet today and im checking on her all the time makeing sure she's okay hoping I would make it in time. i run in and get put in an examination room. i take her out and hold her while we wait about 10 minutes for the doctor to show not sure if this would be my last time to hold dear tigger. i had her to the vet and he feels her and goes "oh" well thats not what I wanted to hear and im freaking out and he says he has to have an x-ray done so he takes my tigger away and the whole time im thinking what if she dies while he is x-raying her, i won't even be there for her. then after 5 long minutes he returns and tells me to get near the light the x-ray was on. I walk over knee's shaking, when he delivers the worst blow ever "she's just fine, its only a fat pad" i was extremely releived.
hope you liked my little horror story.lol. its all true.
the first time I took her in 6 months ago she had tons of pin worms and weighed 208 grams. now she doesn't and is weighing 250 and growing all the time! im so releived. she is still her pernament 14" but im happy knowing she's just fine.
