You have to be picky, but I paid $11 for a flukers digital thermometer/hydometer on ebay, including shipping, i also got two of the exo terra digital thermometers, (in stores retail for 19.99-24.99) for $10 each, including shipping.

Re: Night and Day Cycle.

I just paid 10 dollars for a digital thermometer at Home Depot for the boa enclosure I am building.
Flukers pet shop thermomters are way overpriced to begin with

I know it's expensive, but I like it. I bought this "power center" from petco. It has like six outlets so that you can set all your lights to the same time. It was 30 bucks, but It's worth it to me because I have limited outlet space.

Re: Night and Day Cycle.

You got took.
You can get a power strip and a timer at the hardware store for about 10-15 dollars.

Re: Night and Day Cycle.

WalMart has been good to me: digital therm/hydrom for about 5 (I wanted to say 3, but that just can't be right!) and timers for 5, as well - look in the garden or lighting section. Space, however, is becoming an issue, and I can understand the Power Center - at some point there are just no more outlets for timers, and being able to set each timer to its own time without a million boxy timers ticking away does sound convenient!

Merlin, i keep checking the garden center. I"ll keep looking back. I'll also try walmart's garden center now that they are loading up their spring stuff.

Re: Night and Day Cycle.

I have my timer on a 12/12 cycle as well and I just pluged an extension cord to the timer and then I can have all of my lights come on and turn off together with 1 timer.
