My Beardie is Throwing Up!
About a week ago, my Bearded Dragon's beard started to turn black. Since then, he threw up twice. The first time he threw up, all of his mealies were in it. The second time, which was today, there was a whole lot of blood and a little bit of mealies. I put him in a warm bath in my sink, making sure the water wasn't to deep, and started to take sips of it. I noticed that there was some blood coming out of the side of his mouth. Please, I really need suggestions!

Re: My Beardie is Throwing Up!
You need to get him to an emergency vet. Are mealies his main source of protein???

Re: My Beardie is Throwing Up!
No, mealies arent his main source of protein. He eats crickets, mealies and waxworms. Should I take him to the vet like you said, or is there some sort of booster that I can give him?

Re: My Beardie is Throwing Up!
If your dragon is losing blood out of its mouth, it needs to go to the vet NOW!

Re: My Beardie is Throwing Up!
Please take him to a vet. It could be any number of things, from a sore from hard matter from a cricket leg or exo-skeleton, to many other things. You really need a vet. He's very pretty. Is he a hypo lemon? His beard turning black is quite often just something they do, but they will do it if they are angry or sick also. Good luck
