those temps sound pretty high. i have been told that temps should be around 80 during the day. also, i was told that calcium sand isn't a good idea for Bearded Dragons. i would try something a little harder like outdoor carpet or even coconut bark that you can buy at a lot of pet shops. my Bearded Dragon is about the same age. hope he's doing better!

Actually the basking site for a bearded dragon should be 100-105for adults and 105-110 for babies and then 80ish on the cooler side.

Yes. Bearded Dragons come from a very hot environment. 80 is fine as an ambient temperature as long as they have that hot spot to get warmer.
I do agree about the calcium sand though.
