Maia's been with me for two days now
She's eating.. slowly but steadily her appetite is coming back to her.
I've been mainly feeding live stuff to encourage her to eat but today she was much better. So I think I"m going to start giving her the veggies in the morning and live food at night now that she wants to eat again.
She's still doing well, very social. She loves to crawl into your hand and go exploring. She's active in her cage, always climbing the plants and checking out her new home to find all the great hiding/basking spots.
The only thing is, I haven't really seen her drink water.
To combat this, I've been giving her daily baths to make sure that she's getting some form of water... the breeder said they do drink from bowls so I have a bowl in there with her. Should I be maybe spraying the side of the glass too? I heard some dragons prefer running water. Could that be it?
. Just mist her couple times a day, you can even drip it on her nose and she will like it as it runs down. Dont spray the sides of the glass, it will make it to humid in the tank. I also feed my Bearded Dragons veggies in the am and crix at night,,,its a good habit to start them with.
