Just wondering...

I'm a proud owner of a Chinese water dragon.. and I have to admit that I've never been anything but a "furry animal lover". That is until I met my Scarlett.
I recently went to the pet store and it happened again. I fell for the Bearded Dragons as well.
I've been researching and reading up on them for the past couple of weeks. And as of yesterday, I have a 29 gallon tank (FOR NOW..) I have plans on building a HUGE viv for Scarlett (the Chinese Water Dragon) when she gets bigger (she's only 10 inches now and in a 50 gallon).
I still need to find a breeder.. I've been looking online for the past few days (suggestions are ALWAYS welcome).
But I have another question. I want two, but do you guys suggest two females or two males. I don't want to have to deal with babies so the male/female thing is out. But I just want to make sure there won't be issues.
Thanks in advanced for any advice!
~Joie

If youre gonna keep them in the same tank Im gonna say get 2 females as males will fight as they reach sexual maturity. Althought you dont want to deal with babies you will have to deal with eggs if youre getting females, that cant be avoided. And with eggs of course comes the health issue of egg binding and similar problems. But if youre gonna keep them seperate 2 males will be fine

I'm not sure if I got it right or if it's you but let me just say that Bearded Dragons and Chinese Water Dragon are 2 different things.
You are looking for Chinese Water Dragon or bearded dragon breeders?

If you wanted to keep a male and female pair of bearded dragons you don't have to incubate the eggs, I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that would, but if you didn't want to do it that way two females are best.

Anyway, in Bearded Dragons you also have to care for egg binding. Even if a female don't breed, it will eventually want to lay eggs.

But let me back up a bit and ask you why you want two Bearded Dragons?

it seems like no one has just one!!
lol, I don't know if they're ok to keep alone (like CWDs are) or if they're better in pairs. I haven't really found anything online about it. Any insight?
