Relocation and eating problems

I just got a new bearded Dragon on saturday night(about two days ago), after placing him in his tank he ate a couple of crickets, since then I dont think he has eaten one. I have had some greens and carrots in the tank and he has only poked around at it a little bit. I swear he appears to be scared to death of the crickets. Is this related to the relocation or should I be worried.
Otherwise he appears very alert and and active and healthy.

He is most likely stressed due to the new enviroment. Give him about a week to get used to his new surroundings. Makes sure you dont leave any crickets in his tank if you choose to feed him in his enclosure. Can you give us some info as far as your husbandry, temps size substrate etc.

Also please join us at Hcdragons for more information and advice.

Lighting is a powersun 100 watt and a basking light. Enclosure for now is 20 gals which I have a 60 I will move over to later

I would bump up his temps to 100-110. Have you viewed our bearded dragon care sheet.

I just placed a cork log under the basking spot to place it about 4 inches higher than it was. I suspect it is probably in that range, but I will definately check.

This guy Apears to terrified of crickets, is this possible? I bought some mealworms and he ate about 15 but his appetite seems much less than voracious. Is there still cause for concern?

How big are the crickets? Do yo feed him in the tank or seperate enclosure? I have a few spoiled ones that I feed with tweezers, lol you could try that. I wouldnt feed him that many mealies, they have a tougher exoskeleton and it is harder for them to digest, if fed to many, they can become impacted. You can feed him silkworms, butterworms or wax worms also...wax worms are fatty so not to many.

I see that you went to OZS right there near you. How is their setup? I haven't had a chance to ride over and check them out. I don't usually recomend anyone until I've been there. I figured that they were convenient to you.
