LOL Bitis,if I had my way, I had a reptile farm but as I don't want to breed I think one is on the safe side.Two boys are not possible and two girls I'm not sure.

Yep, two boys are not a good choice, and two females are good - if you only get one I would advise you try and get a female as then if you decide to add more later you can have your choice of gender. Females are more difficult to come across though, and babies can't be 100% accurately sexed, but a good breeder should be able to give you a 95% sexing of a girl.

And never mind about the book.. i'm sure one day we'll find it again. Not that we don't know a lot about bearded dragons ourselves now, but I just think it's a really good book and a really good read.!

They do fine in both situations, solitay and in groups, (1 male and 1-3 females), we house ours in pairs or trios and have NEVER had any compatibility problems...

My uncles neighbor has 2 males together and they are fine but normaly that is not a good way to house them. We think they might be gay because they lay on top of each other all the time lol. But best to keep BDs alone.
