Sucess!!
...Well, after days of trying I finally got Brock (My Bearded Dragon) to take some greens , actually they were a mixture of Collard greed and pureed carrots but he attacked them on site (maybe because of the bright orange color??) Does anyone have any suggestions on what are the best/favorite greens for Bearded Dragons?

I use collards, yams (for color and vitamin content) and occasionally strawberries. Simple yet nutritious and appealing.

Hey Ron, congrats on the new veggie eater. I use what Jay uses and also occasional red bell pepper, raspberries or red cabbage along with mustard and colllard greens. Make sure the carrots are only feed occasionally because it can be calcium binding.

Thanks Jay, Marsha, I wanted to make sure he was getting the right nutrition, especially since small crickets are such a hassle! and greens are gonna be sooo much easier! Now only if I could find a way to turn my Dart frogs on to Veggies....

I forgot the butternut because no one around here has it right now. Squash is a wonderful addition to the salad.

i get a generic "mixed baby greens" and "spring mix" for my beardy. That's the staple, but I feed fresh squash, strawberries, and blueberries on occasion from my garden. Bell pepper is great too, mine loves the colors and I get a better feeding response from colorful food.

I use the same foods I feed my iguana. collards mustard and turnips with assorted veggies. Squash, green beans, sweet potato, etc.
Adam you might want to check out what actually is in those mixes. The stuff around here with that type labeling is nothing more than a couple of different types of lettuce!

There really isn't much in the spring mix and the baby greens. Atleast not here. The stuff here actually contains a lot of spinach.
Which reminds me...
I live in Alberta, Canada. There is no such things as mustard greens and collard. I have looked EVERYWHERE! Most people haven't even heard of it. So, I guess I will have to try planting some.
Does anyone know where I can get some seeds?

Any seed company or store should be able to get them for you. As for finding them, try looking in stores that are located in ethnic areas particularly people of African descent. I know around here collards, mustard and turnip greens have been mainstays in African American cooking for as long as I can remember. I believe that the Portugese people use them as well.
