Gordos Vet visit

Gordo went to the vet on wendsday becuase he's still not eating greens or pellets on his own, he'll only eat bugs, and once he started loosing weight I relized he proabbly wasnt going to start eating regular food on his own again so to the vet he went, The vet seems to know what she's talking about, she felt for impactions, she checked his mouth, which has a little cheesy looking build up but she said in was minor, it and it wasnt mouthrot. she asked about his cage (feeding, caging, temps, uvb lighting, supplement and if he was housed with other lizards) she took blood to test but there machine wasnt working so they had to send it out to be tested, she gave me antibiotics to give him everythree days for his mouth, a powdered food mix for herbavores and reptiles , it have dryed plants, probiotics ,vitimans. She'll call me proabbly in a few days for the results of the bloodtest, oh and he pooped a tiny bit while we were there so she also tested that for me and it came up with just a few coccadias (sp?) here and there, not enough to be causeing him any problems, hopefully the blood work will help figure out whats going on, im to soak him everyday to keep him hydrated, im also giving him water with the dropper after I give him his food stuff. and I have to watch to see if the antibiotics seems to be helping
i hope he gets better and I think im going to bring all my herps to her from now on,staff if freindly, they seem to be knowlegeable ,prices are reasonable and they ask you before they do anything and let you know how much it will cost to make sure your ok with it. now I just have to see if the have quanity discounts and i'll bring everyone in for a checkup once the weathers warmer.
oh and their only 30 minutes away

Jade I am curious about the "cheesy looking build up".
If it wasn't mouthrot did she say what it was?

Jade, when my Bearded Dragons won't eat their veggies I add very small meal or wax worms right in the salad, the movement seems to get them interested and once they start going for mealies they start to eat the veggies.

i think she said its a minor infection, it looks cheesy but its solid when she went to swab so out she had to use the stick end of the swab and scrap a little bit off. im keeping an eye on it to see if the antibiotics start helping.
I've tryed putting bugs in his salad crickets, suppers and waxworms I tryed and I threw some greens over them but he wouldnt touch it until one of them crawled to the top and if he got greens in his mouth he would stop and ignore the bowl and bugs.
he looked slightly intrested in his food today and I saw him standing over the bowl but I didnt see if he ate any and if he did there wasnt a noticeable difference to the food in the bowl
