A couple months back I brought by bearded dragon, Vegas, home from boarding at a vet's office. From that moment on things went downhill, stopped eating and aggressive behavior towards everything. His eating was pretty easy to overcome, eventually he was just hungry enough and started eating. The aggressive behavior was a MAJOR problem though. Over the past week though I ahve been getting him out everyday even he doesn't want to. I set him on the floor and would lay on my stomach to interact with him. I put the palm of my hand right in front of his face. He of course would try to bite and attack me. All attempts fail ofcourse being that all he would do is bump his head on my palm. eventually he would stop and calm down enough to where I could scoop him up and he would sit in my lap some and even scurry up my arm. I did this for about 4 days solid, and this morning I walked in and went about the usual routine of things, when much to my surprise I was able to take the food dish out without him attacking me at all. I came back to put his veggies in, he was still calm, so I decide to go in and pick him up. SUCCESS!!! Vegas seems to finally be showing some encouraging improvement. I was really worried for a while, but I guess persistance and cinsitancy pay off in the end.
