Anyone know a safe beardy laxative. Any stregnth reccomended. My beardy is some how for some reason not pooping and has not pooped for 4 days. Please tell me whats going on. My bearded dragon is 5 months-6 mnths old. All I feed my beardy atm is very small silkies, small chopped up collards, squash, and crickets. that are quarter inchers. Also there is nothing that could cause him impaction. I have papertowel substrate just incase some one is wondering. He may be constipated, but I have soaked him twice yesterday for 15 mins, and today once for 15 minutes. Please try to be nice, I am not really in the "Hey your a stupid retard" MOOD... Oh yes, he also has a full stomache. But by the looks of it his appettite is still great and after getting through the bloated look he shrinks down alil bit. All I really want to know is if there is any SAFE things to use for my beardy to ingest. Problem is that my vet and all the herp vets or herp experienced vets are all gone doing things and way away from me. Which they will be gone for quite along while.

The best thing to do is try the warm bath, let him soak for a little then gently rum the belly from sternum to vent. If he is impacted it will help loosen it up and just for the record...no one on here would ever call you stupid, we only try and help.

Last frum I posted on about this I got the "You stupidhead, you should not have your beardy on papertowels. It's unsafe and unnatural. You should be feeding your beardy smaller crickets than quarter inch. You are such a bad owner. Maybey you can learn from your mistakes when your beardy dies." Attitude...

So do I keep the stomache rubbing on a day or two more, and if he still has not pooped yet. Do I use a very small dose of honey or mineral oil?

I would go with the squash first, I have it as a regular part of my critters diet anyway. Acorn squash and pumpkin are good ones.
