Needed (well .. more like Wanted) :)

Hello All

I am looking for more bearded dragons, doesn't mater the sex! I already have a male and a female Bearded Dragon who have just started mating (should have a clutch in a few weeks) I want to seriously start breading these wonderful creatures and cannot find any in my area.

I hope to get a response

So tell me a little more about yourself. How you plan to house them, etc. I have a Bearded Dragon that is for adoption. I want someone who has some knowledge and experience with them.

Nicole, shipping to Canada from the US would probably be hard to do....rescue animals should be kept as pets....good luck placing him though...

Well.. right now my 2 adult Bearded Dragons are in a 6 foot long tank that was custom made by my boyfriend (he does metal fabrication so he made an asweome tank out of glass and stainless steel)
the new ones that I am hopingto get will all be quarentined for as long as needed before they will be introduced to the others!
I am very interested in breeding and very causious of inbreeding so I will be getting a bunch of more 50 gallon tanks made asap (rigth now I do have 3 empty ones jut waiting.. all set up)

I am actually 1 hour from Canada, but I do not know what part he is from. I do agree however that Zim needs to be kept as a pet and would probably not be a good candidate for breeding as I do not know much about his history. I also do not adopt out for breeding purposes.

So, it sounds to me that you are looking just to breed?

I am very interested in breeding and very causious of inbreeding so I already have the plans made for a bunch of different custom tanks to be made!

I have had my Bearded Dragons for just over a year now and am in love! (and addicted, lol)

i do have other reptiles (mountain horned dragons, aligator lizard, scorpions and a corn snake) i am only interested in breeding the Bearded Dragons (well at least starting out only breeding the Bearded Dragons)

My boyfriend and I even breed the superworms and crickets to save $$ (and so we dont ever run out, lol)

I wish I could find them locally as I am not to inclined on shipping them to me but ya gotta do what ya gotta do

I really appreciate the fact that you do care enough to make sure that it will be properly taken care of and loved! I assure you that my home is the best home for any reptile

I'm not sure what's out there in B.C. There has to be some adoption agencies of some sort. Usually Iguanas and Bearded Dragons are the most common. Do a search in your local phonebook or on the web. Forget about shipping from the U.S. If it's less than $1000 it's not worth it and there is a lot of paperwork especially for Bearded Dragons which are on the Cites list.
