I found a juvenile (about 8 months) male Bearded Dragon up for adoption on Craigslist, and I am seriously thinking of adopting him. The young woman offering him owns his mother, and has had this little guy since he was an egg. I have read the caresheet (again) and I'm busily looking for a free/cheap 55-gallon tank on Freecycle and Craigslist. There's a reptile expo coming up in my area in a few weeks, so if need be, I can buy a tank there. I have seen that ReptileUV.com is THE recommended place for UV lighting, so I will look into that.

I told the current owner that I want to get a home all set up before I adopt her little' guy, so there's a chance that he'll end up with someone else, but I keep having dreams about Bearded Dragons, so I figure there's a Bearded Dragon for me out there somewhere... My husband thinks there's a psych ward for me out there instead. As long as the psych ward has some nice pets!!

Great find, we adopted three of our Bearded Dragons off petfinder.com. All three are really sweet and loveable. Good luck! Can you make the 3 beds in the psych ward? LOL
