beardie not eating??
Hey Everyone my Bearded Dragon Nyobi isn't eating. She was eating fine and everything was good. I'm not sure what happened? Any suggestions?? I did recenlty hook up the waterfall in her tank. I always had the waterfall in her tank but I never had a pump for it. I took that out someone told me that she could be freaked out by it. I dunno she used to eat lik 20 mealies a day and now she just turns her head she doesn't want them. I do give her crickets but she doesn't eat alot of them I think their too small so I ordered larger ones this time. She also isn't really eating any salad anymore. i did add mango that was new and endives. maybe drop the mango and see if she eats then?? she is still healthy looking she still basks with her head up and everything...i just don't want it to get any worse!!

The waterfall isnt such a great idea, high hunidy isnt very good for the Bearded Dragons health... Please post your temps as improper temps and feeding of mealies can result in a compaction...

Might want to have her poop checked...She does need a cooling down period at night, you might want to keep them at 70-75. As stated above, mealies can cause impaction due to the hard exoskeleton, have you tried silkies or waxies.

How long is your guy, I was told by a breeder not to feed mealies until they were 7" or so.

definitly take the waterfall out. Save it for a tropical frog or gecko. Bearded Dragons are from the arid regions of the australian outback and high humidity leads to respiratory and skin infections.
