Bearded Dragons don't really have to be bred they're first year. Some times one of the group or both may not even choose to mate. If they are not the right size for breeding you simply should not breed them. Do you know how much it's going to cost to keep the Bearded Dragons that you will have? Just a question.

I wouldn't try and make them grow any faster than normal. It's not natural and it will probably hurt them more in the long run.

A year and 6 months is the average time it takes for them to become full grown so they can breed. that plenty of time for them to get bigger. and if they dont get large enough to breed then theres no helping that, not all Bearded Dragons get huge. Also the cost of feeding and houseing the baby bearded dragons will be alot and probably wont be made back by selling them, my beardy is breeding in january after her brumation and I dont expect to make a dime.

I still think that it would be fun tho and here where I live they are becoming popular so I think I will be okay also a pet store here takes good care and all of there reptiles and they are always willing to take the bearded dragon babies. So what exactly is brumation sounds interesting but I have never actually understood it will your Bearded Dragon's have more babies or whatever, what are you planning to do with the babies?

i think some dragons will breed with out being brumated but mine sure wont. look at herp centers bearded dragon care sheet it has a better explaination than I could give. but its pretty much the reptile version of hibernating.
even though you have places to take your Bearded Dragons you still have to care for them until there 6 weeks old or 6inches long .
half of my Bearded Dragon babys are going to the owner of the male thats breeding my my female. the rest are going to freinds and family that have should and extreme intrest to have babys from my Bearded Dragon. aswell as a few people i've met that are intrested in Bearded Dragons and willing to wait for one from my girl. Not one of mine will go near the local petstores the ones here are horrible. im prepared to care for all the babys till they find homes with people I feel can care for them.
