I generally quarantine 6 weeks to 2 months. that should give you time to catch any problems. It will also allow the little one to get some strength to keep up with the other one.

I usually do a 90 day quarantine, but i've also been told that I am paranoid before...

LOL! Nothing wrong with being paranoid. It's much cheaper than doubling or tripling a vet bill!
90 days IS better but I feel I am lucky if I can get a new keeper to wait the 6-8 weeks!
They get sooooooooo impatient!

He charges a lot but he's good.

Yeah I do all of my own work pretty much, I keep as up to date as I can in exotic veterinary journals and stuff and I have all of the equipment at hand. If I need to take blood for tests we atleast send that out to be analyzed so I have a big company to help. simple things like fecals, tail amputations, lacerations and abrasions and burns are all handled in clinic our though.

Less is more, just take the tip....i've been working on getting Diz to let me file his because its less likely to cause bleeding and I have to file off rough spots afterwards anyways
