pheonix worms?
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of pheonix worms? I'm ordering a small amt of silkworms and I need to get something else to make it worth the shipping. The site made them look really good..like silkworms..but with extra calcium

I was skeptical until I tried pheonix worms. After receiving a few cans I vowed to always have a can on hand if needed. They make one of the best back up feeders available as they are little care and have a very slow life cycle. All my animals took to them readily and the extra calcium helped tremendously with some weird limb problems my frogs were having. I say order them.

Okay after reading the posts on the pheonix worms I've ordered some with my silkes. So exactly how long do you mean by long life cycle? I could handle silkes turning into moths but no way could I handle flies
 I think I ordered medium so how long do you think I could keep them? an estimate of course |

They will last several weeks at this temperature range. (We have even seen active worms after three months in their cup.) Q. Will the larva turn into flies? A. It's an extremely rare occurance to have the larva turn into flies.
