Canned Bugs
I have seen advertisements on canned bugs ( www.jurassipet.com) and "special diets". In theory it would be much more convenient but I dont want convenience I want the best for my beardy but if they are just as beneficial as live crickets and convenient why not? not to mention my parents are getting frustrated with crickets ( noise, making runs for them(cant get a car for another year) escapees, and my mom doesnt " like having bugs in the house")
What are everyones thoughts on these products ? would it be better to give my parents no choice but to suck it up and get used to it

You can try them but I don't know whether your dragon will accept them.
Generally my Bearded Dragons won't even take a freshly dead cricket.

Many people have noted that the vibrating bowls actually frightened their animals.

I've tried the canned silkworms and if the crickets are as good as them, don't waste your money.
Have you considered breeding/keeping silkworms? They are silent, need much less space, don't smell (according to all sources) and are equal or better than crickets in nutritional terms.

Not to mention they stink really bad...I tried it on some of my Bearded Dragons, they ate them but they dont last and are not worth the money spent.

Considering Mulberry is a tree. And decidous one at that.
So in the winter no leaves!
However you can buy powdered "Silkworm Chow" as well as everything you need to hatch and grow your own from
www.mulberryfarms.com
