Hello all, I am new to this forum. I have a bearded dragon that is approximately 11 months old. I have had him since he was a baby. Last week I changed his substrate. As a result he became stressed and would not eat crickets or veggies. He did, however, eat a superworm. Anyway, I changed it again. Currently he is in a 75 gallon aquarium with reptile carpet as a substrate. He also has a 10.0 UVB bulb that he can get within 6-8 inches. His basking temperature ranges anywhere from 99 degrees to 108 degrees. I am trying to keep it as close to 100 as I can. Is this correct? As far as veggies go he will not hardly touch his greens. I feed him parsely, collard greens, mustard greens, bok choy, turnip greens, and endive. Iwill buy two of these during one week and alternate them daily. The following week I will buy two different kinds and alternate them again. I am trying to give as much variety as I can. If I sprinkle butternut squash on top he will pick that off and not touch his greens. Today, I made him a colorful salad thinking that that could be apart of the problem. I mixed together some parsley, collard greens, a radish, and some red cabbage topped with rasberries. He did not eat much of his greens but ate some of the colorful stuff. What is the deal? Are any of you folks have or have had this problem? I feed him crickets every other day. He seems to be doing a lot better on his crickets than last week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
