Does your beardie eat fruit puree?

Hi!
After miscalculating the proportions for the geckos apple puree and I tried to give the surplus to my Bearded Dragon.
Not only their tongues were not made to lick but he also seems puzzled about the consistency of the puree. I gave him a hand putting some in the tip of his nose and letting him lick it but after a while he was trying to swallow something over and over (probably trying to clean his mouth cavity).

Has anyone tried something similar?

Ricardo

Hello,

I have never fed a puree like that to my dragons, so I am uncertain what the outcome would be. lol

Well ... a friendly advice, if you leave it in the enclosure, it will find its way to the walls, floor, decoration and places you never thought your Bearded Dragon could reach =)

I've never tried pureed fruit, but harry loves canned cat food, and what does not make it in her mouth gets everywhere else, lol. Harry and Harold also like cooked and mashed sweet potatoes in small amounts.

When Zola fasts for a few days i'll give him Sweet Potato baby food, he loves it, but as it was mentioned before he wears a good deal of it, and runs through the rest after he is done eating it....
