Gordos a really picky eater , he was doing great when he was in with pebbles but when I had to seperat them he got piccky again, then sincei moved him to his new cage its gotten worse, he could see other lizards and spent his time bobbing at them, and not eating, so I made a little curtain to cover his cage so he couldnt see out but I can still get in to take care of him easy.
im lettig him eat as many crickets as he wants since thats all he'll eat right now, and I shove some pellets and a peice of vegatble in his mouth everyday, and give him water with a dropper. and what I want to know is, i have a supplement called Nutra-cal that the vet gave me when I had sheba. do you think I can mix a little of that into his water to get more calories in him?

Before you try that, what are you feeding him? I use chollard greens mixed with just a little carrot and either strawberry or apple (everything is hand chopped really small).
Try altering his diet, you'll find something he likes. Being alone in the cage he doesn't feel pressured to eat right away.

I've offered him the usual salad everyday, collard greens, escrole,squash, orange bellpepper, and I tryed blueberrys the the other day, i know he likes tose hairy raspberrys so if the supermarket gets any i'll try those too, sometimes he looks a little intrested, somtimes he ignores it, and sometimes he take just one taste, when I get paid for watching the chiroprators animal, im going to get a fecal done for him.
