Eggs for breakfast?

I was having breakfast and Sparks my female Bearded Dragon seemed particularly interested. I offered her a little bite of scrambled egg and she wolfed it right down. I don't recommend doing this very often but does anyone know of a reason that they couldn't have a bite now and then?

The only thing that would concern me is its fat content and the Ca;P ratio which is in favour of Phosp.....but as a one off and dusted in calcium, for females recovering from laying there should be no problem.

Yeah, I agree with Joe, the high fat content and Ca:Ph ratio would mean that it isn't good if fed too often, but there isn't anything that I've come across which says that it is harmful to them.

We have tried our Bearded Dragons with boiled egg in the past, but they weren't too amused We have also tried mixing in powdered (crushed) egg shell into the veg in the past, to increase calcium intake.

hey Merlin I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago and I wasn't able to find anything for or against it. My vet said it would be alright in moderation....as a treat.

What I do is mince it up, sprinkled it with some calcium and mix it in their greens or pellets. Not too much though, mine get bloated after eating them, for a couple of days (still not sure if it's the eggs causing the bloating or just because they gorge themselves).
