beardie food too big?

i just got a new shipment of crickets in for my beardy (1000). I usually get 1/4 inches but this time I got 1/2 inch crix. My beardy is about 9 inches snout to tail length and the length between it's eyes is almost exactly the same length as the cricket's body, some are a little bigger. I figure that since they will grow, i'll have to use smaller crix, but will this be ok to use? I used to have to feed 20 crix at a time, but this time it only took 7-10 crix to see a full belly. What do ya'll think about this?

As long as the cricket is about the length of the distance between the eyes they will be fine to feed. It doesn't have to be exact.
You just don't want to feed a hatchling adult crix!
