You say you had impaction on your dragon because of supers. I think this is highly unlikely. Impaction would kill him. He just ate to much and couldnt digest the worms that fast. Try feeding him the white supers because when they molt the are softer. Warm baths should be given to your dragon weekly. This will keep him hydrated and help him poo. normal mealies have a high impact rate compared to supers. This is impaction due to owner neglect not the superworms.

It isnt too odd, impaction can be caused by a number of things and ingetstion of a large amount of supers can definatley cause impaction....and impaction dosnt always lead to death, as long as you have it removed, now acute impaction(i believe thats what its called) always leads to death..but thats the slow building of a substance (such as sand) in the digestive tract and it cant be removed. Haha, and sorry if I sounded rude..I didnt mean to

If he did't defecate properly for 3 weeks I would call that impaction without a second thought. Impaction is defined as: "Pressed firmly together so as to be immovable, often causing an obstruction." If treated properly (as Speacilk did) the problem can be cleared up. It is when the problem goes unnoticed or untreated where it can become fatal.

There are 2 types of impaction that reptiles are associated with. There is the acute impaction which is the sudden onset. It occurs when a large quantity or item is ingested and causes an immediate impaction. The other is the chronic impaction. That is the slow accumulation of particulates in the digestive tract that slowly accumulates causing an obstruction.
Each type of impaction is treatable if it is recognized and the herp is treated properly.

Right but if he was giving them to much wouldnt be more on him than the dragons not being able to take that much in. I mean if he was giving the baths twice a week Im sure he wouldnt even of had that problem. I bath mine twice a week and still feed supers. Never had any problems.

It's hard to say, everyones dragons are different. I've had impaction issues even though my dragon is bathed regularly. it just depends upon the dragon itself.
