Fish??
Hi - I was just wondering if anyone knows if feeder fish are good for Bearded Dragons? I was giving my Bearded Dragons a bath today and put a small goldfish in the tub. They went nuts trying to get it and were biting at it. I didn't let them eat it because I didn't know it it would be good for them.
Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Fish??
no idea. I'm sure someone will chime in. I know they are OK for chinese water dragons though... not that that helps you.

Re: Fish??
it won't hurt your Bearded Dragon, but it's very high in fat, like nicole said. much like pinkies, it would be okay for a treat, but not as a staple. Just make sure that the fish is not too big. you don't want to give him one of those big fat goldfish, but a feeder fish would be okay.

Re: Fish??
Thanks for the info, everyone. If I were to get some small feeders, it would only be for a treat while they had their baths. I thought it was so funny how they both hardly moved in the bath until I put the fish in, then they were running, well, trying to run, all over trying to catch it. It really got them moving.
