Silkworms

Vegas is about 6-7 in. and only live feed he eats is crickets. Can he have silkworms or should I wait until he is older? From what I have read silworms are a good staple with protein and calcium and other nutrients, vitiamins, etc...and that they don't SMELL like crickets and are a heartier insect as well. So, this appeals to me a quite a bit; however, I'm not sure of the size issue. Can a smaller Bearded Dragon eat them easily?

Re: Silkworms

Silkies come in all sizes as well, and they are soft so the impaction risk is lower. Try them out.

Re: Silkworms

They are alot better than crickets and you dont have to feed as many. Go for it.
