help 2 beardies same age but not same size??
Hey ppl
I have two Bearded Dragons got them about a week apart. there was a little differece in size but the difference is increasing rapidly. I have started seperating them at feeding time but the little one is very lazy to eat. They are about 4 months old now and still wont take veggies I am only currently feeding them crickets.. Any advise would be great.. |

Hello,
I would advise not housing them together until they are both adults and are the same size. The smaller one is likely stressed by the larger one. UV availability also plays a role in the eating habits of bearded dragons.

I was planning on seperating them.
I just need to clean the second enclosure.. How and what veggies should Bearded Dragons eat? same as an Iguana?? |

Hello,
Yes, you can feed the exact same beggies you feed an iguana. The only difference is that the Bearded Dragons also require animal protein. They should also be getting insects in addition to the veggies. Do you have 2 UV lights? Both enclosures will need it. Like iguanas, Bearded Dragons have high UV requirements.

I totally agree with Rich. Also what are the basking temps. That also plays a role in eating habits.
