OK, I know this is a myth, but...
...reassure me again, folks. Do I have to cut off the heads of superworms before I feed them to my Bearded Dragon? The pet store guy told me they will eat through his (the Bearded Dragon's, not the pet store guy's, lol!) belly if I don't cut off their heads. I just watched Spike-Umms absolutely gobble them up -- he loves them. I'm planning to try to switch him to silkies eventually, but for now...
This is just a myth, right?

Marshas wrong....
What you got to do is, cut the head off a chicken sprinkle its blood in the Bearded Dragons cage, do an acient voodoo dance which will active the chickens blood and give the Bearded Dragon more power, then do a rain dance to wash the blood from the cage. Now this may sound crazy but take the water int he ank and wash the superworms in it and this chickenblood, rain water mix will disolve thier teeth. and give them to the bd. Now flush the mix down your neighbors toilet and all is gone.
LOL Really Marsha is right, its a myth.

Very funny, MoogleBass! If I can't bring myself to cut the head off a superworm, how will I ever decapitate a chicken?!!
I know, I know, these people at petstores are clueless... This is one of the more knowledgeable guys, and he keeps reptiles, but I was still pretty sure it was bologna. But as a new mom of this particular sort of baby, I needed reassurance.
Thanks, guys!! (Including you, Moe!)

My local petstore employee said you have to sprinkle the ashes of a platypus between steps 2 and 3...never miss a step or the superworm gods will be angry and they will uhhh...tell more petstore employees silly rumors to give you headaches!

I find this funny, as I used to have to(so I thought) cut the heads off the meal worms I'd feed my anoles or velvet collard lizard I had back when I was younger. I did it though because I didn't want to come home and see a worm hanging out of my lizards stomache like the aliens off Alien the movie.
