Hi everyone did you wonder if I was coming back? Sorry it's been so long. Just to get everyone up to speed... Harry did not lay anything but fell asleep some time in February and Harold shortly after. Pretty quiet for awhile there. A couple of weeks ago they woke up and have been "very" active ever since. We wondered if anything was actually happening then we caught them in the act! My goodness, they do like each other!! I got a picture to show my son so he wouldn't freak if he saw them in that position. I think we are good to go for some babies this time. I'm already kind of set up for laying and incubation from the "dry run" earlier so we're back to a waiting game again. I'm trying to document everything so as to keep on some sort of schedule. I am wondering when I should seperate them. They have been mating since May 2nd for sure and haven't really stopped! I'm thinking the sooner the better at this point and will probably do this as soon as I'm done here. I think Harry needs a break!! She is not showing any stress at this point but I'm sure that if she is in her own space it would be a relief just the same. I'm out to get more verm today so as to have it ready in time. The book says about a month or two and it's been that.
I'm starting to feel guilty about leaving them together so long so I'm going to sign off for now so I can take care of Harry right now.
I'll be back later to read any tips and suggestions you all have for me.

I thought that this forum was supposed to be PG. I can post them anytime. They would show to new to breeding what actually happens. It goes kind of quick. As to a ton of babies, I'm not sure that I can afford that many crickets! lol

Yeah, I think that as long as it is in an educational setting its fine, i've posted my skinks unsucessful breeding attempts and Steph posts pictures of Gil with his 'girlfriend' too.
