Does the temp. in the incubator need to be between 83-85 or does the vermiculite need to be between 83-85? Currently the temp in the incubator is 86 degrees and the vermiculite is about 81 degrees. Is this normal? Am I just seeing this because it hasn't regulated yet. The incubator with the vermiculite in it has only been on for about half a day.

You prolly have to wait for the temp to regualte, but im not sure

If the temps in the incubator are consistent, the substrate will eventually catch up and get pretty close in temps. Normally it takes a few days to regulate the temps.

The temps have pretty much stablized. The vermiculite stays about 83-84 degrees.

We started off with 20 eggs and are now down to 10. They have been incubating a week today. I think the rest of the eggs will make it. It's been 2 days since we took out any eggs with molding and we can see veins growing in 3 of them.

We're incubating Bearded Dragon eggs. First timers, so we're very excited and nervous at the same time

Heathers and my eggs are coming along nicely. They are now starting to develop visable veins. We candled them today and 8 are fertile. So they're Alive....they're Alive. Rise my creations!!!
