I've got eggs...wish me luck
I am so excited....my flaming tiger, Aurora,
![]() has laid 3 clutches (for a total of 50 eggs) since march and she was only bred once. She's 3yrs old & this is her first year breeding.....I was about to give up cause she refused to bred before this year. She was bred to Handsome ![]() Then today my rankins dragon, Ginger, finally laid her first clutch (19 eggs). The eggs are about half the size of a normal Bearded Dragon's egg. ![]() The incubator is full !! WooHoo !!! But, now it looks like I'm gonna have buy another one, my Beauty's looking lumpy (and I thought she was just getting fat). I didn't breed her this year, but several breeders have told me she could have retained from last year. So we'll wait and see if they are fertile or not (she diggin in her nestbox tonite). And if she's gonna make eggs regardless....I might as well breed her. |

Congratulations Toni!! Aint it great when the incubator's full??
Our Bearded Dragons are refusing to produce fertile eggs so far - our best girl has laid 3 clutches, but none fertile grr, and our other female who is now 2 has never bred - so you gave me hope telling us about Aurora.. our girls are in with their boy but the one who has never produced just doesn't seem interested in mating or breeding.. so there is hope for her yet!! If Beauty is gravid she may be producing infertile eggs without breeding, or she could have retained sperm, but if they are infertile it's likely she's just producing eggs, ours seem to like doing this And baby rankins!! - can't wait to see lots of pics when they all hatch., I love the little rankins! Good luck with them all, and keep us updated. ![]()
