I have a 18 month old male and he shows the territorial behavior . but have only seen him lock up with one of my females . Is there something I can do to stimulate him ? Would separating him from the females for awhile help ?

I do believe if you seperate them for a few days, it will probably prove sucessful. Most of the time I never saw mine breed, lol. Also, are you keeping him with one female at a time?

He also might just be a typical teen.....some dragons aren't naturally good at it. I had one who made me crazy with how sad his breeding attempts were his 1st season. He did much better the second year, but if I recall correctly I had to stroke the female's tail and he jumped right in....never had a problem after that.

One question.....how old/big are the females you are trying to mate him too?

Yes, how old are the females? And are you sure they are females? What are your temps?

no I have him in with 4 females . he's breed them before but has just stopped . I brought another male over from a friend and put him in a set up with another female , just to stimulate my sandfire male . its seemed to have done the job . we will see if I get any eggs out of these females . thanks for the advice .
