I had a few more egg questions. First I would like to say thank you to all that have responded.

How early can you candle eggs? I put a flashlight up to them today and they were just pinkish looking...of course they are only 3 days old. All the eggs look the same but there are a few that feel a little wet and softer. Are they about to go bad? All the rest are still firm and look the same. Would I prob see mold by now if they were bad? Most of them look plump and white.

Sorry for all the questions ~ it's my first time and I want to make sure I do everything I can to have healthy babies.

Are you keeping an eye on the humidity? I would watch the eggs that are soft and wet, not going bad yet. Usually at about 2 weeks you should be able to see veins inside the eggs.

Im getting something to measure the humidity Friday. What exactly should it be?
Would the bad eggs that are infertile be showing yet with mold,etc? I know the fertile ones can still go bad.

I kept my between 80-85% They wont show mold yet.
