Should we add water to the bottom of the hovabator ? How do we keep the eggs moist enough?

You can put a small bowl of water in the hovabator you can also put damp paper towels over the eggs and wetten again when the paper towel dries, or you can mist around the egg, but never on the egg directly.

Ok it has a fan also which I heard works fine as long as the eggs are covered ( with holes of course. Does anyone else have expeirence with the fan model?

I wouldnt hook up the fan, it tends to dry the eggs out and its hard to keep the himidity right.

Totally agree. Using the fan is not a good idea. Very hard to maintain proper humidity levels.
