Beardy Language

On this site ( http://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/headBobbingVideo/ ) it says something about females often performing an arm wave motion and spike often does this sometimes several times a day. It does say that gender is not completely determined by these motions. Could Spike be a Spikette? How would I determine this as best possible without going to a vet? Spike is about 10 months old now and is quite large I heard something about bumps near the ventral area if I took some pictures could you help me to determine the gender? Thanks

From what I've read on Bearded Dragons the arm waving motion has little to do with gender. Most writters say it's a sign of meaning no harm to another, when confronted by another Beardy. Though I could be wrong.

Most of the time it is females that arm wave, but occasionally males do to...its a sign of saying Hey I just want peace...They dont have to be confronted all they need to do is see another near or inside their enclosure.

:P Spike must concider me as another dragon he always look at me and does it lol. I have been around animals all my life with lots of pets all the time and I have learned how to mimic some behaviours of animals to better get along with them. At school they consider me somewhat o a "freak" becasue I can make by throat pretrude similar to how a BD does.

The first pic is normal the other one is me "showing my beard in anger"

Told you im a freak XD lol
