The most she ate for me in one day was 7 crickets. She does bask off and on. I knew she wasn't eating alot, but she was having stool and urine daily. With her taking in so little, one day made a huge difference. I gently pushed the formula in her again this morning .15ml. She kind of smacks her tongue after I put some in her mouth, but she will not willingly open her mouth for me. After I fed her, I just let her lay on my hand for about 10 minutes. The kids are all at school so it was nice and quiet. I placed her under the basking light. She stayed there for about 15 minutes then moved to more of a shaded area. The temp in her basking spot is 98%, low 90's on warm side and low 80's on cool side. She has been holding her head up more today than yesterday. I put two very small crickets in her tank, but she has made no effort to eat them. Not even when they walk right under her nose (literally). She has both uva and uvb light source too. (just incase anyone was wondering)

that may be your problem, now im no dragon scientist, but I know your basking spot it way to cool, it should be around 110-115 for a baby so small. This may be her problem because without proper heating she can not digest and in a way the food she has in her could be rotting, giving off all sorts of nasty fumes. Up her lighting and have her bask, it shouldn't make an immediate difference but if you can bathe her gently and get her to pass whats in her and get her to bask more it might make a difference in the long run.

While your basking temps are slightly on the low side - aim for 100F-110F - this wouldn't make a Bearded Dragon so ill... they aren't drastically low that they should cause such a reaction. Do try and increase them a little though and see if this helps her to perk up.
I'm sorry I have no other suggestions for you, but keep doing what you are doing. Getting some food into her will keep her strength up. Is she not attempting to eat any live food on her own?
I'm glad you were able to talk to and prepare your daughter. I wish you all the luck in your little one getting better.

OK. I just changed her light bulb to increase her basking temp. Already increased to 105 degrees and climbing. She took some more formula for me. I pushed .15ml and then she took another .15ml slowly just by smacking her tongue and licking her lips. I can tell she is exhausted just from that activity alone.

Thank you all for your kind words, support and advice. I am certain that with your help I am doing all I can for her. Here is a pic I took of her today next to Eeyore. You can see how much smaller and more fragile she is comparatively.
I will keep you posted on her hopeful progress.

She had a loose stool yesterday, very small amount, nothing today. I just got home from work and tried to give her some formula. She took about .05ml and that was it. I couldn't even "force" her to take it. Her temps are more what they should be. I called my vet, but she is in surgery right now.
PS: The guy I got from you, Jayr, is doing very well! He is eating me out of house and home He ate about 40 crickets and 30 mealworms yesterday alone. He looks very happy, and makes no effort to run when I handle him.

I'm sorry to hear that she isn't really improving on a grand scale yet Angel. The picture certainly does show the difference; ignoring size difference, it is obvious how unwell she is by the fact that she is laid, eyes closed, with clear signs of lethargy and weakness, while the other stands alert.
I hate to write negative things, but at the same time I do not want to give you false hope. She still looks like a hatchling to me, whereas the other looks a little older; she is thin and weak, and may not ever improve.
I certainly don't think you are or have done anything wrong; I don't know what the previous care was like ? - but she may well be one of the weaker ones. In either case, keep on going. I don't think you've answered, but have you tried feeding her live food still and is she making any attempt with it at all? How is she behaving now? - still lethargic all the time or moving around and investigating a little more. The higher temps should help if anything will.

the wet stool would be a side effect of the formula, since you never put something solid in nothing solid comes out. its not a bad sign and in fact means the formula is fine. it shouldn't dehydrate her in anyway, and she should be just fine with eating it. it is a pain to clean up tho.
i am praying for your little one that she makes it, and this makes one heck of a story to people who plan on selling too young. please keep us updated on her activity like BG stated above.
