Odd Behavior

Ok, Adelaide is biting a rock that is in her cage and licks it, but Alexandria does not. I'm not sure but that seems odd. Both are about 3.5 months old. It is just a rock from my backyard. I did not sterilize the rock it is just a round rock. There is absolutely no chance it will break. the rock is round about a tennis ball size. it is a pinkish and grayish color. I took it out so Adelaide will not be able to bite or lick the rock.

Re: Odd Behavior

I'm not sure what would be causing the behavior, but if there is any chance of the dragon being able to break off a piece or swallow any of it I would take it out. What kind of rock is it? And did you sterilize it prior to putting it in the tank? If so, how?

Re: Odd Behavior

What is your set up like, and what kind of supplements are you using for them?

Re: Odd Behavior

I feed them crickets twice a day (they are dusted with calcium). I feed them collard greens, carrots, and bell pepper once a day. They have a heat lamp a uv lamp a nice branch and a shallow water bowl. They are in a 40 long tank with a partition so they do not get overwhelmed with the space.
