It sounds like to me he needs a vet visit. Especially with him having been on the calcisand. I don't know where you looked for a vet but check out this page and see if they have any listed in your area.

Re: Sleeping Beardie
I've already checked there, I live about 2 hours south of St Louis, MO. I'm gonna check the vets here in town today to see if any of them have reptile experience. But I do believe that his gut is impacted which infuriates me all the more that the makers of that calci-sand **** still make it. I mean, look at what it does to these little guys/gals. Grrrrrr, I'm definitely calling petco today about this as well. This just infuriates me, it burns my bum is what it does.

Re: Sleeping Beardie
alright, i called Petco back, told them what was going on, they said that since i'm within the 15 day policy, I can relinquish Zeke to them and they will take him to a reptile vet there in town. I've also got their names as well and will add them to that list for anyone else around here. but the way the guy was talking, he thinks I prolly ought to just exchange him for another Bearded Dragon. obviously I don't want to do this, but I don't know what to do. i've got the fear that what's really gonna happen is they're just gonna let him die and give me another one. Of course, i could just take him to the vet and pay for it out of pocket, but I don't have the funds for that right now....

Re: Sleeping Beardie
See if instead of relinquishing him, will they just take him to the vet for you, or reimburse you for the cost? Ask for the vet they would take him too, just to see if they are fibbing or not. (wondering if they really will take him to the vet or just try to sell him again or put him down).

Re: Sleeping Beardie
Yeah, i tried that when talking to the guy, he wouldn't budge one bit. Said I'd have to sign Zeke over to them so they could take him to the vet. The good news is I did find a vet here in town, but he's in Mexico right now. How's that for great luck?
To be honest, as his owner/caregiver, I feel that I should be the one that determines whether he should endure months and months of treatment. To me that would be no way for him to live. But if it's not an impaction, i would want them to figure out whats wrong with him, my fear is that when I leave petco, they will simply toss him in the freezer then call me later and say that there was nothing that could be done for him. i just don't trust them. not when it will affect their bottom dollar.

Re: Sleeping Beardie
Time for an update.
He did manage to each about 5 mealworms and half a green bean last night after I finally got home from work. today the reptile expert for the local petco is supposed to call me and hopefully I may be able to get them to let me take Zeke to their vet. I really do hope that they will. anyways i'll update later.
Thank you to everyone who has responded to this post. It means a great deal to me to be able to find such a wonderful group of people who care so much for reptiles. I really am glad I found this site.
Thanks also to you Rich for keeping it going.

Re: Sleeping Beardie
Animal lovers love poo! yay for poo!
Its possible the stress from the new environment caused him to back up for a bit. Hopefully things get good again.

Re: Sleeping Beardie
Woohoo!!!!!! Just checked on him during my lunch break, he poo'd again!!!!!!! Just a small streak this time though. The first one had a white plug about an half an inch long I'm thinking might be the "urine" and possibly a small deposit of calci-sand. I'm gonna talk with petco and see if they'll let me take him to their vet and have him checked out now that he's poo-ing again.
Oh, and the actual poo was runny in both instances, though in the first I saw some undigested cricket bits.

Re: Sleeping Beardie
Sounds like he might needs some meds if its runny. I would definitely get it checked out.
