Depressed or brumating

bokay so I spent a fourtune building a new bigger enclosure that included all the "right stuff" size, lights, substrate, food... and now all my 10 month Bearded Dragon, stickers wants to do is sleep..all the time..I have to wake him up them leave a trail of silkworms to make him come out of his shady protected spot..then he goes right back! the temps are 88 in the cool and 100 in the basking spot. So any suggestions? you think he doesn't like it or is it just time for him to sleep for the winter or something? I'll try to attach a picture if I can get it small enough

Tell us what you have in the tank,,substrate light etc. You might also try bumping up the temps to 105.

Sweet enclosure. Good job on that. I agree you only have a variance of 12 deg from hot to cool.

Okay I am having some trouble with the lights...I have two fixtures other than the uvb tube one slose to each end. Right now I've got a 75 watt equivalent energy efficent one and then a plain 100 watt in the other...when I put the ceramic heater on one side it got way too hot...like 115 or 120! I've got a rheostat built into the side with the long ledge(which I planned to make the basking spot), but I can't put the Ceramic Heat Emitter there because it won't work on the rheostat..will it..I mean I can't turn it down some. But I can't get one side hot enough without it...so should I just leave the hot at 100 and make the cooler side much cooler? like with a 45 watt would probably only be like 70. Or should I get another fixture installed and where? I knew this would be trouble I'll come back and post a pic of the lights I have now

As to your question about sleepy/depressed. My two girls are both pretty sleepy right now too. Harry stays in her log most of the day and Harold lays under her basking log "forever" at a time. Last year while they were sleeping, I would stand at the tank and watch until I saw them take a breath. lol now I just feed them when they wake up. I am also keeeping dry food in their dishes if they wake up and I'm not around to give them anything alive. Also nice enclosure. I'm trying to find one similar but with front sliding doors.
