night lights

My tank is finally complete and I will be posting pictures of it soon(more like when I get batteries for my dig cam) and I have been stuck on getting one of the infra red lightbulbs for it but which color is best as to not disturb her?

I like the dark purple... It kinda goes with the substrate (not a black light)

I've been told reptiles don't see the red lights, so that's what I use. (the zoo med ones)
