...brand of mercury vapor bulbs, i plan on ordering two for my 5' custom enclosure today, and wanted your opinions on which was best, i have been really looking at www.bigappleherp.com, cuz they have started making thier own, "Capture the Sun", and claim that they are the best, not to mention that they are about $10 cheaper then the others. what do you guys use....what have you had the best luck with, and what do you thinkg about capture the sun brand??? and what wattage should I get right now I keep (2) 100 watt basking bulbs on a rheostat to keep the basking temp at 110...

The Mega Ray out does the "Capture the Sun". I have a Mega Ray as well as a UV Meter (Solarmeter 6.2). The readings that I get from the light are spectacular. I would, at any point, suggest this light over ANY light that is on the market. At this point in time, the only light that I would deem stronger and more efficient would be the natural rays from the sun.
