Hi. I recently have found this bulb from Europe available in the herp stores here. They specifically say that they give off UVB. But its all in German or something and I can't read a word of it. Even if I did, I wouldn't believe it unless someone has tried it or there has been some test results.

I know we can all stick to reptisun or go with the mega ray whatever but the idea here is to explore this new product.

I would suggest adding the name of the bulb so people know exactly what bulb you are referring too. (I am pretty sure that Germany and Europe have tons of different lights and several that emit UV of some sort.) I would also suggest posting this on the UV Group. If it hasn't been tested by Frances or Bob, it likely will make its way into the circle.

I'd be a little hesitant using it until knowing what levels it gives off. You want to make sure you don't give too much UVB. There's a Chinese bulb around as well that I heard of. It has varying levels of UVB and usually no two bulbs are the same.
