Re: Purchase
Please do not buy your animals from petco.
Green Tree Python will range from $350 for farm hatched and imported babies all the way to $4000 for designer morphs. My recommendation would be to find a breeder who produced captive bred animals here in the states. This will normally run you $450-500. While the CH ones from the farms are not depleting wild stock and many will do well, they will need to be treated for parasites like any wild caught. this will only add to the cost through vet bills and the like. While researching their proper care and cage setup on the net you will come across breeders who offer quality animals. I say that because it is these breeders that write the care sheets. So rather then give you some names I will let you do your homework first as anyone should do before getting a new animal |

Re: Purchase
I would look for a show or expo to purchase one, and make sure it is captive bred. google for shows in your area. If there isn't one for another few months, its worth the wait to get a healthy animal.

Re: Purchase
All you have to do is to google "Reptile Show" or "Reptile expo" and your state. Since you are in Florida it shouldn't be hard to find one.
They do have a great big one in Daytona, I belive it is in August.
